The cat that got the cream…

I can definitely say I have two 3* horses in the yard- it has been a wonderful 3 days at Chatsworth, with a few highs and a low or two!! #putyourbuttinthebest @spaldinginternationalsaddlery @weatherbeeta.uk #flyingwithoutwings

What I can say, is that horses like Smokie are not ‘one in a million’ horses, he’s a ‘once in a lifetime’ horse! … I feel lucky I’ve had some special ones- but he takes the biscuit!!

Tiny made his way round his first- and a very stiff- 3* track, it was just a shame that my braking systems failed… and I was jolly pleased to make it home in one piece, with no airbag intervention!!! ?

And Smokie… well, Smokie… as far as both of us were concerned, did the most glorious double clear! Apparently one shoulder was outside a flag, but we’d have only been 12th, so we didn’t complain!

I feel like the cat that got the cream, and thinking about a couple of very strange, inexplicable occurrences around the lorry, felt very much like Mum was part of the team today!!
