So I have to accept that eventing is the best sport at teaching you to accept the highs and lows… Smokie has just done the most beautiful test for me today at Gatcombe- for where he is now, I COULDN’T have asked more of him… We had a couple of VERY frustrating mistakes, that were completely avoidable… And still managed to pull a very competitive 32 out of the bag. He’s just outside the top 10, and a very exciting track to jump round tomorrow!!! I can’t wait!!
